Where My Heart Goes

God was not needed to create the Universe.
I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers.
By Dr. Hawking
Is it so?
I wonder.
Heaven and
Afterlife
I believe in both.

Whether heaven exists or not,
Whether God was involved in creation of the universe or not,
They are different issues, while
Either involves vastness.

Even though physics was the reason for
The Big Bang
Why not heaven can be?

Dr. Hawking lives with ALS
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
He was diagnosed with when he was 21.
He lives an atypically long life with ALS.

When one dies
Where does the mind go?

Along with physical body, does the mind disappear?
With death, the mind ends.
I feel it's rather hollow.

Feelings and the heart
Live as long as the physical body
And sometimes more than the body
define who one is.

One’s personality
One’s heart
Ceases to exist
I can’t imagine.

Thoughts
Ideas
It’s all right to have contempt
Needless to say, love and hate

All those emotions and feelings
Disappear in the blink of an eye
I don’t think death as such.

So long as somebody remembers
The departed
The heart remains in the sky.

The sky welcomes all the souls,
The vastness of the sky is for that purpose.
Our heart lives even when
The body ceases to exist.

Dear Dr. Hawking
I can’t be like you
I spent the night lying wide awake.
